From Idea to Industry: Enabler Pro D8500 Wins Runner-Up at HBL P@SHA Awards 2025

When we first set out to build affordable 3D printers in Pakistan, the dream was simple: to make advanced technology accessible to everyone — from classrooms to creative studios, from small workshops to large factories. That dream took a new shape this year in the form of the D8500 Enabler Pro — our most powerful, precise, and versatile 3D printer to date. And last week, that vision was recognized on a national stage when the D8500 Enabler was named Runner-Up in the Industrial Manufacturing category at the HBL P@SHA Awards 2025, one of the country’s most respected platforms for innovation and technology.
Markhor3D’s journey began with an almost impossible challenge: to design and manufacture a reliable 3D printer at a fraction of the global cost — without compromising on performance or reliability. Starting from the early Enabler D6500, the world’s most affordable 3D printer.
Our next step in this journey became the widely-adopted D7500. Every product was a step closer to proving that cutting-edge hardware doesn’t need to be imported— it can be built here.
Standing on stage at the P@SHA Awards, surrounded by Pakistan’s most ambitious innovators, felt like more than an award ceremony — it felt like a validation of years of persistence, experimentation, and belief. For us, this trophy isn’t just about a machine. It’s about the hundreds of schools now teaching design and engineering using locally-built tools, the startups prototyping their first products without importing expensive hardware, and the young students discovering the joy of making something real.
We’re deeply grateful to HBL, P@SHA, and the judges for recognizing the work we’re doing — and to the teachers, makers, and dreamers who’ve believed in us since day one.
While recognition like this is an incredible milestone, it’s also a reminder of the journey ahead. Our focus remains on pushing the boundaries of what’s possible locally — integrating advanced robotics, smarter software, and more accessible interfaces to serve both education and industry, which is reflected in all of our products. The D8500 embodies everything we’ve learned along the way and represents the best of what local engineering can achieve.
